LEA has received a flood of emails from people who would like to see our new film, "What's so bad about milfoil?" which first aired at the 10th Annual Maine Milfoil Summit. So we've posted this 12-minute documentary on line, in two parts. You can link to the movie, which chronicles  Maine's battle against invasive aquatic plants and LEA's control effort on the Songo River, from the LEA website: http://www.mainelakes.org/.

The film also is airing daily on Lake Region TV Channel 5 on Time Warner Cable, with an introduction by Executive Director Peter Lowell, LEA Board President Anne Wold and Board Member JoAnne Harbourt.
